On Friday, August 4, 2017, Amir Khan took to Twitter to announce that he and his wife, Faryal Makhdoom, had mutually agreed to split up.

What started out as an announcement with not much details, quickly turned into an assault on his wife.

While many initially questioned the validity of the tweets, Khan’s wife did not stay quiet on Twitter and seems to have validated their authenticity.

Faryal, a model and the mother of Khan’s child, also mentioned the fact that Khan did not need to release tweets when his past isn’t squeaky clean.

“I’m sorry to all the fans & family hurt by this. But Amir did not need to do stupid tweets accusing others when he’s in the wrong.”

As far as Anthony Joshua–he dropped the most savage tweet of all.
