Showtime Boxing‘s tripleheader is headlined by IBF champion Errol Spence Jr. (23-0, 20 KOs) as he comes home to defend his title against Carlos Ocampo (22-0, 13 KOs) on Saturday, June 16th in Dallas Texas 9 p.m. et.
The second fight of the night will be Super Bantamweight Daniel Roman defending his WBA title (24-2-1, 9 KOs) vs Moises Flores (25-0, 17 KOs).
Showtime boxing will kickoff with the Junior Welterweight showdown between Adrian Granados (18-6-2, 12 KOs) vs Javier Fortuna 33-2-1, 23 KOs) in 10 rounds of action.
Errol Spence Jr. vs. Carlos Ocampo
This will only be the second hometown fight for Spence Jr., and a mandatory title defense ordered by the IBF.
IBF Champion Errol Spence Jr. is coming off of a dominant performance in which he stopped Lamont Peterson to defend his title.
Carlos Ocampo is an undefeated Welterweight out of Mexico. This will be his debut fight in the U.S. and an enormous step up in competition.
Spence Jr. continues to search for the biggest fights in the division and has no problem fighting mandatory while in the waiting process. The unification fights will be there, and Spence Jr. is the most dangerous fighter in the division.
Daniel Roman vs. Moises Flores
WBA Super Bantamweight champion Daniel Roman defends his title against Moises Flores Saturday night. Roman is coming off of a win in his second title defense against Ryo Matsumoto in Japan. Roman looks to take the momentum from his last two fights to become a household name in the Bantamweight division.
Flores last fight was a controversial no contest against former champion Guillermo Rigondeaux (17-1, 11 KOs). Flores remained the #1 ranked opponent by the WBA and has another chance to gain a title.
Adrian Granados vs. Javier Fortuna
The first fight of the night may steal the show in Adrian Granados vs Javier Fortuna.
Adrian Granados’ is coming off of two consecutive losses in the Welterweight division to Adrien Broner (33-3-1, 24 KOs) and Shawn Porter (28-2-1, 17 KOs).
Granados is eager to return to Junior Welterweight of 140 pounds. He wants to prove he belongs at the top of the division.
Fortuna is moving up from the Lightweight division of 135 pounds. His last fight was a loss against IBF Lightweight champion Robert Easter Jr. (21-0, 14 KOs).
Granados v Fortuna will be an all-out war and will only start off the night of great fights.
